Preloved Baby Cot

Baby is at the stage where she's learning to crawl, sit and stand. She loves to stand in her cot. But the bad thing is she doesn't know how to sit down slowly. Ouch. 

Well since she's learning the above, I can't possibly keep her in a highchair, exersaucer or carry her as often, i debated for quite some time internally and I finally gave in to getting a preloved playpen. 

$60 for the playpen and a mattress. Quite ok right? Hmm.

Saturday afternoon was spent at girlfriend's place, relaxing, eating her homecooked korean ricecakes and pancakes, chit chatting, letting baby bond with the rabbits and eating loads more.

After lunch was cakes then icecream. Ah.. The calories to burn haha.. 

I wish to recommend the cake that we had. It is delicious. I love what I had.

I then did a search online and found more information from their website. The cake we had was the Marble Chocolate Brownie. A 1kg cake pre-cut into 10 pieces at S$27.00

For those of you who love cream cheese as much as you love chocolate, this brownie was made for you! With swirls of light cream cheese swirled in brownie batter and topped with chocolate chips and walnuts, this brownie is a promises an intensely rich and delicious flavor.

Girlfriend got it from the woodlands outlet. Thought of going down after our session, but the place was already closed. The next time we are in the neighbourhood, this is a place I wish to go.

Happy 9 Months Old

Baby turns 9 months today. She is over 10kg (I'm glad I'm still able to provide for her). She has four cute baby teeth. She is able to pull herself up to stand in the cot. She is able to (leopard) crawl to get her toys. She babbles papa, mama and ahteh (i guess she's calling Latte). She still wakes 2-3 times at night for milk. She still rejects most of the solid food I prepared. She is our beloved baby girl. Grow and learn at your own pace darling. XOXO

PS.. She poop while we were having the photoshoot. And she dirtied this new cute romper for her 9 month old photoshoot. Luckily I managed to get 8 good photos for the collage.

Korean Tteokbokki

Tonight's dinner menu was Korean Tteokbokki. Spicy ricecake with egg, some pork and green onions. Kind of a failure, as it was way toooooo spicy. Friend mentioned that the chilli paste is not spicy at all, so maybe I got too generous. Oops.

Recipe is from http://www.maangchi.com/recipe/ddukbokkie. But I skipped quite alot of ingredients. My cooking style: anyhowcookanyhoweat. Haha oops. 

Here's what went into tonight's dinner. 

- 500g rice cake (bought from NTUC)

- 1/3 cup chilli paste 

- 4 cups water

- 2 stalks green onion

- 2 hardboiled eggs 

- 7 ikan bilis 

- some pork

I improvised the ingredients but the method used is the same as the recipe. 

Next attempt, lesser rice cakes, lesser chilli paste. Burning mouth and tongue >.<

I can see her fourth tooth. Her upper left tooth is showing. Small white patch on the gum.

Baby is gearing up to crawl. She moves one, two steps, before rolling over to her back. She still finds rolling much faster. Haha.

Baby oh baby. You are growing up so quickly.
