Mango Milk Popsicle

The weather is melting us everyday. It's so hot that I sweat even when bathing.

My mother bought me mangoes a few days back. While eating, I was thinking of using part of it to make popsicle for my lo.

She seldom eat such cold stuff. And she doesn't like texture that get stuff stuck to her hands lol. So much for blw huh.

Anyway, she doesn't really like the popsicle. But she kept wanting to put in her mouth. I guess the coldness is just too much. She was ok to eat the mango milk like a dessert with a spoon. Haha.

It's still consider a success! Guess next time, I can skip the freezing part if she still doesn't like the cold.

Recipe:
Really simple. Mango and milk to your desired amount and freeze overnight. Works for any fruits and liquid.

Hong Kong 2016

We are back from our 5D4N trip to Hong Kong. We had fun. The weather there was rainy, with 3 days raining the whole day, including the day we were in Disneyland.

We took the SQ return flight to HK. Josie is considered an infant (0-2) so she is not allocated a seat and sat on our lap. Initially we were thinking of resting the first part of the flight when she nap after take off like the previous trips. We were wrong. She stayed awake the entire flight. Gosh. And she woke up at 4+am in the morning!! Sighs. My tired baby.

Our meals in flight. Carrot cake for breakfast. Pretty nice, just a little spicy. We don't really take spicy, that's why.

Josie's baby meal. She didn't eat much though. But she had eaten the bread from our tray. Haha...

We had lunch when we reached HK airport. Expensive lunch. Taste not too bad but... Expensive lol.

After checking into the hotel and taking a short break, we headed to Tsim Sha Tsui. First... Jenny's cookies. Not very difficult to find. There are loads of fake Jenny's cookies all around in the same building. Faint. Have to go to the one with queues. The queue wasn't that bad. Lots of people bought alot and stashing them in empty luggages. We only gotten a few for family and ourselves. Sorry friends....

Josie fell asleep when I was queuing, so we took a Starbucks break. Lol.

We went window shopping in the malls around TST, as it was raining and there are just more malls than shops that are more interesting haha...

Will update more progressively.

Fever again

Yesterday, Josie woke up with a fever from her midday nap. 38 degrees. It lasted till about 2am it went up to 39 degrees +.

This morning, her temperature fluctuates between 38 and 39. And I was pretty impatient with her as she wants to nurse and her bear round the clock. Sigh.

Get well soon darling.

Good Friday - Tanjong Pagar Railway Station

Today is a Public Holiday! A Good Friday. I love public holidays as it means the hubby is spending the day with us.

Josie woke up pretty early today. A little before 7am. But I was too tired, hence I self snoozed alittle until she went to karjiao the daddy to wake up. Haha.. Then I proposed that we go to the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station, that is opened to public today from 9am to 6pm. (Saw the news a few days ago).

The next time it opened its doors is on Labour Day, 1st May 2016

Here's our photo journal with some captions.

Josie was not keen to sit on the railway track for photos.

She either looked down and checking out the stones or she looked stressed out.

The place is filled with people. But we're glad we went in the morning. I saw friends' posts about their visit that was even more crowded.

"Modelling" by the station. Have to remember not to slouch so much.

Enjoying herself.

It's a joy to see her explore and enjoy herself.

Following our tour guide.

Josie got tired pretty quickly. Also because she woke up real early. Haha..

Enjoyed myself today. Something different to do as a family. Sadly Latte can't join us. I'm sure he'll like the place too.

Josie haircut

Josie's hair was getting long and very messy. So we decided to let her have a haircut. Short, cute, doll hair.

I brought her to EC House. An outlet with kids' ride. Those that you put in a coin and it will move and play music. I assume that the hairdressers will show more patience, since they welcome young customers. Oh they have Barney on TV too!

And am I glad I chose this. She was very patient and friendly. Previous haircut experience was BAD. She was tsk tsk ing all the way. The salon was one I always patronised even after I moved. I no longer go there. Anyway back to her haircut.

It was a fuss free process. Thank goodness. She enjoyed herself by "steering" the train and watching Barney.

Turning around, looking around, is expected. The lady handled it well. Although I suspect that the fringe ended up so short is because Josie kept moving and she kept trimming hahha.

Josie was ok with the vacuum too. The lady was hesitant. I was gamed. You won't know if you don't try. Glad Josie wasn't too fussy about it. She continued watching Barney and driving her train.

At the end of the haircut, the lady inserted the coin for Josie to play the ride. So nice. Haha..

And here's the reason why I feel her hair is so short. So round haha.

Happy 17 Months Old

Happy 17 months! My darling milk baby, looking all so grown up in this series. Drink so much milk and still not a foodie baby yet. Haha.. Learning new words and talking lots recently. The mammy better be more hardworking in teaching. Let's jiayou together. Daddy Mammy love you lots. Xoxo

Rabbit and bird

Two new animals to the list of words.

Here's rabbit "bit" with her very first word, dog.

And bird "bod". She knew this for a while, but I couldn't really catch her pronounciation. She kept quiet when I asked her to repeat. Lol.
