Happy Mother's Day!

My second mother's day with the little girl. Thankful to be her mom, thankful to be my mom's daughter.

Dinner out with my mom and my family. As usual, it's the zichar nearby. We managed to get a table, but the wait for the food was...... Waiting and waiting. And it was soooo sweating hot.

The hubbs drove me to get cakes earlier on before dinner. I had been meaning to eat the cakes from Châteraisé for a long time. They have such pretty and cute cakes! And they are delicious! Soft, fluffy, yummy.

It's another commercialised day. The hubby bought a gift. A new camera that's waterproof and shock resistant. Good to use around a toddler lol. Love the hubbs who can "read" my mind. I need something like for the little girl's swimming sessions.

It has a very rugged feel. I guess that's what it needs to give an all rounded protection.

Happy mother's day to all mothers.

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day. Happy birthday. Happy frienship day. Happy Sunday. So many special day in one day. And it's sure a happy day for me.

Hubby bought his young valentine and old valentine a gift.

Kitty for the young valentine. Heart for the old valentine. But it's way too big for Josie.

Everyday with my love ones is a happy day! This is so old aunty (see next picture)

Christmas eve surprise

Hubby mentioned to stay home in the morning of Christmas eve (I wanted to bring Josie to meet some Looney Tunes characters). I was to expect a delivery. Of course with no direction as what it is.

The hubby told me to open it when the parcel arrived. It's a Kindle. Another gadget added on to my entire collection of gadgets that I seldom use or bring out since I have no time when I'm with my baby or too heavy to bring out another thing (yes, my diaper bag is way too heavy and bully, preparing myself for the worse, only to lug the stuff around without using half of what's inside)

No gift for the hubby. So. I declared the Kindle as a gift for both of us (Since it's way over budget as Christmas gift). Haha.

Christmas on Ion Orchard

After Josie's MyGym trial class, we went for a lunch date with my sister.

She got me this ultra cute Tomica Winnie the Pooh car. This is another poisonous collection. I can't start. Else I can't stop. Lol.

After lunch, we went to take some Christmas photos outside Ion Orchard. Very pretty, fairytale decorations. Too bad Josie is not in a dress but long pants since she had class earlier on. Note to self: bring a dress or another cute outfit when wearing long pants.

Here's the spam of photos.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy mother's day to all mothers and mother-to-bes. It's a commercialised day where mothers get appreciated. Lol!

Hubs got me this. Loreal RevitalLift anti-wrinkle and firming day cream. With a fine print that he doesn't mean that I am full of wrinkles or that my skin is sagging. Lol.

Thank you hubby. I know I do look pretty bad sometimes.. Or most of the time. Haha.. Don't worry. I know myself.

My.. I applied this card together with her passport in late February. Her photo.. Omg. She look so different now.

My baby is growing up so quickly.

Christmas Eve

The hub is on off for the day and out little family went to collect his new IC and passport at ICA. Intended to go Bugis for lunch, but we backtracked back into the train when we saw the almost full train station.

We ended up in Kallang Wave. I haven't been there before and neither has little Josie. First thing we went to do was to feed little Josie. BUT there wasn't any nursing room in this new (consider new as it's not even like more than 6 months) mall. Omg. We stood in the nappy room to feed. Ouch my back.

Next was to feed the parents. We went to the Manhattan Fish Market located at level 1. The restaurant's entrance is outside the mall. There wasn't much people dining at that time since it was already 2 plus. We had the set lunches.

Soup of the day was the Light Beetroot Soup. We had seen homecooks in Masterchef Australia using beetroot but we have never tasted it before. It's quite nice. Sweet and tasty.

The hub's Scallop Americana. Spicy. Nay for me. Hub didn't really enjoy his meal as little Josie was fussing so he had to entertain our little boss.

My Costa Baked Seafood with rice. There's fish, sotong and scallop (i think). Quite worth for the mix of seafood and it's filling.

Dessert that came with one of the topup. The Super Fruit Crumble. I love it. It's a double scoop vanilla icecream with cranberry bits on top, apple sauce by the sides and lots of crispy crumble on top, middle and bottom. I really love this dessert. And it's only $4.90 ala carte or extra $2 for the topup set lunch. Worth.

This is the set lunch promotion the mfm is offering. We had one with drink and soup and another with drink, soup and dessert. The dessert is totally worth it. Haha..

After touring a little in the mall, we went to ubi to buy one roast duck home for dinner. Our annual roast duck feast for Christmas Eve. Just for the two of us.

And not to forget, a year ago today, we bought and brought Latte home. He was so tiny and cute then. Now he's so mischievous.

Before we went to bed, the hubby gave me a pink jacket Pooh for Christmas. Thank you *muacks*

Good night and Merry Christmas!

Lotte Binch

Hubby's colleague just got back from his Korea holiday with some biscuit snacks as souvenir. And I got to sample it. Yay~ *sneaky sneaky* Yums.. The biscuit is delicious~

It's a round biscuit with milk chocolate coated on one side. A vintage vehicle is embossed on the chocolate.

The side of the crispy biscuit that is not coated. I'm a fan of anything chocolate. Love this biscuit.

I did a generic search of the biscuit and it is available in Singapore too. Haha..

Designer Diaper Bag - Ju.Ju.Be

A Ju.Ju.Be diaper bag was presented to me for my birthday last month, from 3 dear GFs. Thanks girls. Love the bag. It is very pretty and useful. Can't wait to use it. It was suggested that I use it as my hospital bag when I go into labour. A very good idea on starting my journey as a mummy with it.

Designer diaper bags for today’s parents.
Ju-Ju-Be bags are built to fit everything baby needs – while being stylish and fun. Featuring tokidoki, Original Ju-Ju-Be and Legacy prints. All Ju-Ju-Be bags are machine washable, anti- microbial and incredibly durable yet lightweight.

LEGACY SUPER BE - THE DUCHESS
http://shop.ju-ju-be.com/legacy-super-be/
This pretty, stylish diaper bag weighs only 0.23kg. Being a typical kiasu Singaporean, I can put in loads of stuff without worrying about the initial weight of the bag, but only what I put in =P It's huge too, measuring at w46cm x h38cm x d14cm. And the strap is long, very easy to carry and retrieve things, especially when one of my hands/arms is occupied.

I had never thought of getting a diaper bag. I had intended to just use my large Longchamp Le Pliage bag as a diaper bag. It huge and considerably light too. This new diaper bag comes as a big and pleasant surprise. Love it alot. Here's a video on the bag's benefits.

If you are interested in getting a lightweight diaper bag, you can consider this too. There are several styles and designs by this brand. There are even bags for dads and backpacks too. I like the Legacy range more though. Happy shopping!
