Bang table. Pat pat

These few days, LO like to bang her hand on whatever that's in the path. Be it, table top, tray table, bed, chest, my leg, my arm, my face.. Haha it's so cute when she does that with her mini fat hand. Especially on my arm after milk. It's like saying, "Well done mummy". Haha. Love.

Reach for your toes

LO's new milestone today. Playing with her feet. Flexibility is very important. Remember sit and reach in school's Napfa test? Hahaha

And now... "Pa"

In the midst of all the "mom" and "ma", "pa" appeared.

Happy!

She's 4 months 10days~

"Mom" and "Ma"

Today, when she got hungry or wants attention, she started to call "mom" and "ma" in between her crying. I wonder if she's calling out to me, to milk, or just someone to help her. Haha

She sounds so sweet and gentle when she "ma" and "mom". My heart melts whenever she calls out.

Mummy loves you. My darling.

Flip: Back to tummy to back

Baby now can roll from back to tummy to back. In one line. Hmm. Will be rolling out of the mattress on the long side soon. Haha.

Gave her the teething beads from gf TS. She was busy licking it. Haha. I love the colours. Very bright and colorful. It's from First Years. If you are interested, she's selling on Carousell (http://carousell.com/p/12493436/).

Flip: Back to Tummy

Today, just a while ago, darling flipped. At four months old. From back to tummy while mummy is busy pumping. She did that for a few times. But asked for help when she's stuck at her tummy.

I wonder why now she just refuses to flip from tummy to back. It's not like she doesn't know. She just lie there, head resting, drooling and asked for help.

I'm a happy mummy.

Flip: Tummy to back

Flipping from tummy to back is easy peasy now. I hope it will maintain and will get even better...

100th day - First haircut

Today marks the 100th day from her birth. And we brought her to Baby Spa for her first haircut. I don't want to shave her hair, so it was only trimming. But to be honest, the skill isn't that good. And the scissors they used is so... Blunt.

But one of the ladies there started playing with LO and she laughed. Thanks to her, I got a really nice photo.

I doubt I will go there again. Maybe another outlet, but not this outlet for sure.

10 weeks

Before today, the bub has slept from 1 to 2 to 3, 4, 5, 6 hours. Today, she had reached a new record of 7 hours. Which means we slept through the night together! Yippie!

However, since she's only 10weeks old today, I can't help but be a little worried that she did not feed enough. She's still an infant and needs her milk. Maybe she is going through a growth spurt and currently she needs more sleep than milk?

Downside is... Both my boobs were leaking. Yup. I was woken up by them instead of my little snoozing alarm. Haha...

Worry 2: Cleared

Finally. After two long months of visiting the hospital (inital 1 week) and polyclinic, little Josie's jaundice is finally below 100. And we do not need to go back again to check. Hip hip hurray!! No more poking to draw blood. Her small little feet has so many holes now. Heartpain.

I'm glad. I'm happy. Really very happy.

Xoxo

8 weeks

Cheers to my happy, smiley 8 week old Josie. It has been a week full of new developments. She has been lip-tongue-smacking the whole evening today.

My dear Josie. Hope that you be strong and healthy. And always be a smiling, happy girl.

Colic go far far away from my LO.

XOXO

Smile smile

Our little one is starting to smile in response and is also starting to coo and communicate with us once in a while.

Love you Josie.

6 weeks

Yesterday we brought little Josie for her jaundice check, one month checkup (1 week late due to some miscommunications) and Hep B2 vaccination.

For jaundice, the level is coming down, but still not low enough. Sigh. I foresee another month of blood test and followup. Quite sick of going to the polyclinic weekly and having my little girl suffer the drawing blood process and hearing the same result "going down but very slowly".

For the one month check, I think she's growing well. Height is acceptable, but weight, the nurse is unable to accept the first measurement and we went to weigh again. I guess the milk that she drinks is too nutritious. But not that we can do anything about it. Maybe I have to be careful of what I eat >.<

When we were going through the one month check, she started telling us that she was hungry. And by the time the needle went in for the vaccination, we could not differentiate whether she was crying from hunger (by the way it was not meal time yet, but needed a snack) or from the injection. The hubby and I thinks it was from wanting milk. Haha.

She's 6 weeks old now.

Growth Spurt?

Read this article earlier on. I understand and feel what the author went through. I'm always at loss when the LO cries inconsolably. And I always try to give her whatever she wants and needs to make her feel better. My heart aches whenever she cries nonstop, sounding like she's in pain.

However I'm not too sure if my LO is going through a growth spurt too. She's 6 weeks old tomorrow.

Worry 1: Cleared.

At birth, LO was given an appointment to return to the hospital for an ultrascan and doctor's review as there was some concern regarding the size of her kidneys.

And she is cleared for the concern today. Yippie. Love you lots my precious.

4 weeks

She's four weeks old today. Time passes so fast. 28 days has passed. My dear LO has become so different. I missed how she felt like when she was just born. But love how she is able to react a little to us now.

Love her to bits.

I'm getting the hang of breastfeeding. And she's getting the hang of day and night (fingers crossed). We are finishing all the newborn diapers and moving on to S size. Time really passes by so quickly.

My dear, grow up strong and healthy. XOXO
