Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil

Everyday we put on skincare products and makeup on our skin. Especially to protect our skin from the harsh sun and environment. At the end of the day, we also need to take care of our skin when we remove all the makeup and skin care, letting our skin take a breather.

How about a one step cleansing oil that removes makeup, cleanse and nourishes the skin, for us busy bees?

Neutrogena recently launched two new deep clean cleansing oils to the Deep Clean range of cleansers, that removes makeup and deep cleans with skin hydrating and brightening benefits. They are the Deep Clean Brightening Cleansing Oil and the Deep Clean Hydrating Cleansing Oil.

It is scientifically proven that the cleansing oils not only remove 100% makeup (even the most stubborn waterproof ones), it takes away 99% of dirt and impurities and nourish the skin while cleansing. The impressive thing about the new Deep Clean Cleansing Oil is that it accomplishes all these three tasks in one easy step.

These two new cleansing oils caters to the different needs of our skin.

For complexion that requires hydration, the Deep Clean Hydrating Cleansing Oil contains cucumber extract that helps to hydrate skin and keep it soft. The moisturising agent comes from the cucumber juice that naturally has high water content (>95%).

The Deep Clean Brightening Cleansing Oil contains mulberry extract, which contains Vitamin C and Vitamin B. Vitamin C, helps inhibit tyrosinase, a naturally occurring enzyme that catalyses production of pigment. Vitamin B is known to inhibit melanin transfer. Together, these help to reveal new skin cells and brighten the complexion.

So how do we use the cleansing oils? It is recommended to apply to dry face using dry hands.

Pump out the desired amount and massage the cleansing oil in circular motion gently on the skin. The skin will be shiny and watery. I love the smell of Deep Clean Brightening Cleansing Oil, kind of made me feel hungry for some fruits. Haha =D

Then add water to emulsify. As both cleansing oils are formulated with a non-comedogenic micro-emulsion, adding water will transform the cleansing oil into soft cleaning milk. Amazing~

Then wash away with lukewarm water, though I just used room temperature water.

My skin feels soft, moisturised, clean and looks brighter after cleansing.

The Deep Clean Hydrating Cleansing Oil quenches my dry skin's thirst by providing me the moisture after the deep cleansing routine.

The Deep Clean Brightening Cleansing Oil brightened up my dull complexion, giving me a radiant look, especially after a long day out.

The Deep Clean Cleansing Oils are dermatologist tested and they do not clog pores. That's great news for me, as I always get clogged pores resulting in bad acne. The cleansing oils are mineral-oil free that gives us cleaner skin while not washing away our skin's natural oils.

My Review:
Not being a avid fan of using sunscreen due to the oiliness and stickiness that comes with it after some time, which at the same time worsen my sensitive skin and also with the excuse that I usually go out before the sun gets too hot and back home after dark, my skin complexion was not as good as before. Stubborn dark spots decorated my face.

After trying out the new whitening product from Neutrogena's Clinical Fine Fairness Radiance Essence that has a breakthrough technology (powered by VITAL-IONS and Lily Nectar), and also clinically proven with dermatologist tested to lighten even the most persistent spots, my face looks much healthier.

The double chamber pump of the bottle of Neutrogena Clinical Fine Fairness Radiance Essence pumps out two small pump of essences, one in a lighter colour than the other. I guess that's the two different important essences of the Clinical Fine Fairness Radiance Essence. The essence is opaque white and there is a mild fragrance from the essence that is just nice and not overpowering. My Review:
I love the high SPF and PA protection against the sun harmful UV rays in Neutrogena Clinical Fine Fairness Multi-Protect UV Fluid SPF50+ PA+++. Huge huge protection against the hot sun. The fluid is purple in colour, with a tinge of light fragrance. It does not feel sticky. Actually, it feels almost to nothing after applying.

Neutrogena Clinical Fine Fairness Radiance Cream, $34.90

A luxurious non-oily moisturising formula infused with VITAL-IONS™ and Lily Nectar, it aids deep skin renewal at night, helping to make skin look brighter, fairer and more radiant. Its clinical strength formulation works to reduce melanin production and improves skin tone and clarity, while at the same time providing sufficient hydration for dewy soft, smooth and moisturised skin with youthful luminosity.

How to use:
Spread a small amount evenly on face and neck every night every night after Neutrogena Clinical Fine Fairness Radiance Essence.

My Review:
I am afraid whenever beauticians or over the counter's sales recommend me cream type beauty products for improving my skin condition. There were a few times, cream based beauty products seem to be too "heavy" on my skin and I will get outbreaks. For Neutrogena Clinical Fine Fairness Radiance Cream, I started off by applying a very thin layer onto my skin. I like how the cream felt on my face, especially the moist and smooth feeling. It feels really nice. Till now, still applying with a very thin layer, my face does not react adversely and I can feel the difference in how hydrated my skin is, before and after using Neutrogena Clinical Fine Fairness Radiance Cream.
