Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil

Everyday we put on skincare products and makeup on our skin. Especially to protect our skin from the harsh sun and environment. At the end of the day, we also need to take care of our skin when we remove all the makeup and skin care, letting our skin take a breather.

How about a one step cleansing oil that removes makeup, cleanse and nourishes the skin, for us busy bees?

Neutrogena recently launched two new deep clean cleansing oils to the Deep Clean range of cleansers, that removes makeup and deep cleans with skin hydrating and brightening benefits. They are the Deep Clean Brightening Cleansing Oil and the Deep Clean Hydrating Cleansing Oil.

It is scientifically proven that the cleansing oils not only remove 100% makeup (even the most stubborn waterproof ones), it takes away 99% of dirt and impurities and nourish the skin while cleansing. The impressive thing about the new Deep Clean Cleansing Oil is that it accomplishes all these three tasks in one easy step.

These two new cleansing oils caters to the different needs of our skin.

For complexion that requires hydration, the Deep Clean Hydrating Cleansing Oil contains cucumber extract that helps to hydrate skin and keep it soft. The moisturising agent comes from the cucumber juice that naturally has high water content (>95%).

The Deep Clean Brightening Cleansing Oil contains mulberry extract, which contains Vitamin C and Vitamin B. Vitamin C, helps inhibit tyrosinase, a naturally occurring enzyme that catalyses production of pigment. Vitamin B is known to inhibit melanin transfer. Together, these help to reveal new skin cells and brighten the complexion.

So how do we use the cleansing oils? It is recommended to apply to dry face using dry hands.

Pump out the desired amount and massage the cleansing oil in circular motion gently on the skin. The skin will be shiny and watery. I love the smell of Deep Clean Brightening Cleansing Oil, kind of made me feel hungry for some fruits. Haha =D

Then add water to emulsify. As both cleansing oils are formulated with a non-comedogenic micro-emulsion, adding water will transform the cleansing oil into soft cleaning milk. Amazing~

Then wash away with lukewarm water, though I just used room temperature water.

My skin feels soft, moisturised, clean and looks brighter after cleansing.

The Deep Clean Hydrating Cleansing Oil quenches my dry skin's thirst by providing me the moisture after the deep cleansing routine.

The Deep Clean Brightening Cleansing Oil brightened up my dull complexion, giving me a radiant look, especially after a long day out.

The Deep Clean Cleansing Oils are dermatologist tested and they do not clog pores. That's great news for me, as I always get clogged pores resulting in bad acne. The cleansing oils are mineral-oil free that gives us cleaner skin while not washing away our skin's natural oils.

You can find the new Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Cleansing Oil ($29.90/200ml) and Neutrogena Deep Clean Hydrating Cleansing Oil ($29.90/200ml) at Guardian and Watsons from 18 June 2015.

IN & OUT Cafe at Big Box

Dinner out today. I suggested to go down to Jurong East, for some shopping and dinner.

We decided to settle our dinner at IN & OUT Cafe. It is newly open in Big Box, level 2 (Behind Hip Box). Their concept is very Ikea restaurant (sorry I can only relate to that).

Hubby had the Lamb set meal with soup and cakes, while I had the chicken. The set does not come with drinks, hence we topped up $1.80 each for free flow of soft drink. $19.80 for everything in the picture.

Overall not that bad. And I love the place as everything is so new. Haha. They have a children area too, where the children can dine together. Their highchair though... does not have safety belt. Not too good for babies who just learn or just learnt to sit in high chair. It seems so dangerous for baby to sit in it.

We'll definitely go back for the spacious seatings, cheap and nice food and the cold air-conditioning. Haha...

Bioré UV AQUA Rich Watery Gel

Protecting our skin from the strong UV rays is a necessity, especially with all the skin problems like sun spots, wrinkles, freckles and aging skin. Sunscreen one of the things that we cannot leave the house without. Finding a good sunblock with high SPF and PA is important, getting one that suits your skin is just as important.

I'm sure everyone wish to get a daily high level sun protection that is not heavy, greasy and sticky and would love to apply a sunscreen that feels like water, weightless and cooling on our face and body for sun protection.

How about trying this weightless, maximum level of sun protection: Bioré UV AQUA Rich Watery Gel

The Bioré UV AQUA Rich Watery Gel came just in time for me to use on such a hot and sunny day, especially I will be out and about under the sun most of the time today.

The sunscreen feels so light and watery when applying. It is absorbs almost instantly. There is no trails of the white sunscreen, like what the other sunscreen usually does. The Bioré UV AQUA Rich Watery Gel gives off this light fresh fruity fragrance, that boosts my mood for the happy day even more.

Armed with my Bioré UV AQUA Rich Watery Gel, I have the maximum level of protection from the sun yet it feels like nothing on the skin, I'm all ready to head out for the busy day today. And for the future days ahead.

So, what is amazing sunscreen that gives such high level of sun protection while it feels so light that it is almost akin to having nothing applied on the skin?

Bioré has launched the new Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel, in addition to the range of enhanced sunscreen products that offer a very high level of UV protection (SPF50+ and PA++++).

No more heavy and greasy sunscreens while getting a SPF50+ AND  PA++++ protection from the scary UV rays.

Formulated with Bioré’s unique Aqua Rich technology, that is used in the popular Aqua Rich Watery Essence, you can get a light and watery texture when applied onto skin.

The UV block ingredients are contained within the Aqua Micro Capsule (a water capsule which breaks upon application) in an easy-to-spread gel format that provides SPF50+/PA++++ protection while keeping our skin cool and refreshed.

Most sunscreens that have a higher SPF value tends to have a heavier product texture, unlike Bioré’s Aqua Rich Watery series. Its lightweight feel and at the same time provide maximum UV protection is retained even when the SPF value is that high. The Aqua Rich Watery Gel is also infused with hyaluronic acid and citrus extract to keep skin hydrated and healthy.

There are more than one benefits of using Bioré UV AQUA Rich Watery Gel SPF50+/PA++++. It:
  • has superior double UV block with enhanced SPF50+/PA++++
  • has maximum protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays from the sun
  • retains its light and watery texture allowing smooth application with no sticky feeling
  • is infused with hyaluronic acid and citrus extract, that keeps skin hydrated and fresh
  • is suitable for application on face and body
  • brightens and whitens skin, for a glowing appearance
  • is suitable for use as a makeup base

The new Bioré Aqua Rich Watery Gel [S$18.90/90ml] is available at all leading pharmacies, super & hyper markets, departmental stores, beauty stores and selected minimarts.

Preloved Baby Cot

Baby is at the stage where she's learning to crawl, sit and stand. She loves to stand in her cot. But the bad thing is she doesn't know how to sit down slowly. Ouch.

Well since she's learning the above, I can't possibly keep her in a highchair, exersaucer or carry her as often, i debated for quite some time internally and I finally gave in to getting a preloved playpen.

$60 for the playpen and a mattress. Quite ok right? Hmm.

The happy kids.

Melvados

Saturday afternoon was spent at girlfriend's place, relaxing, eating her homecooked korean ricecakes and pancakes, chit chatting, letting baby bond with the rabbits and eating loads more.

After lunch was cakes then icecream. Ah.. The calories to burn haha..

I wish to recommend the cake that we had. It is delicious. I love what I had.

I then did a search online and found more information from their website. The cake we had was the Marble Chocolate Brownie. A 1kg cake pre-cut into 10 pieces at S$27.00

http://www.melvados.com/index.php/buy-online/tray-cakes/marble-brownie.html

For those of you who love cream cheese as much as you love chocolate, this brownie was made for you! With swirls of light cream cheese swirled in brownie batter and topped with chocolate chips and walnuts, this brownie is a promises an intensely rich and delicious flavor.

Girlfriend got it from the woodlands outlet. Thought of going down after our session, but the place was already closed. The next time we are in the neighbourhood, this is a place I wish to go.

Happy 9 Months Old

Baby turns 9 months today. She is over 10kg (I'm glad I'm still able to provide for her). She has four cute baby teeth. She is able to pull herself up to stand in the cot. She is able to (leopard) crawl to get her toys. She babbles papa, mama and ahteh (i guess she's calling Latte). She still wakes 2-3 times at night for milk. She still rejects most of the solid food I prepared. She is our beloved baby girl. Grow and learn at your own pace darling. XOXO

PS.. She poop while we were having the photoshoot. And she dirtied this new cute romper for her 9 month old photoshoot. Luckily I managed to get 8 good photos for the collage.

Korean Tteokbokki

Tonight's dinner menu was Korean Tteokbokki. Spicy ricecake with egg, some pork and green onions. Kind of a failure, as it was way toooooo spicy. Friend mentioned that the chilli paste is not spicy at all, so maybe I got too generous. Oops.

Recipe is from http://www.maangchi.com/recipe/ddukbokkie. But I skipped quite alot of ingredients. My cooking style: anyhowcookanyhoweat. Haha oops.

Here's what went into tonight's dinner.

- 500g rice cake (bought from NTUC)
- 1/3 cup chilli paste
- 4 cups water
- 2 stalks green onion
- 2 hardboiled eggs
- 7 ikan bilis
- some pork

I improvised the ingredients but the method used is the same as the recipe.

Next attempt, lesser rice cakes, lesser chilli paste. Burning mouth and tongue >.<
